Processing fees are based on rail weight (not live weight)

BEEF - (1,800 lbs max- live weight)

Please Note: We cannot accept mature bulls or beef larger than 1800 lbs live weight. Failure to disclose the size of your beef at the time of booking may result in your beef being rejected at drop-off.

Under the CFIA transport regulations, every commercial carrier or any person who transports animals regardless of the quantity, frequency, or duration is required to keep records related to the movement of animals. Click here for a fillable beef Animal Transport Record form.

  • Slaughter (Under 30 months)

    • 0-500 lbs - $150

    • 501-700 lbs - $175

    • 701 - 999 lbs - $200

    • 1000 lbs+ - $225

  • Slaughter (Over 30 months)

    • 0-500 lbs - $175

    • 501-700 lbs - $200

    • 701-999 lbs - $225 lbs

    • 1000 lbs+ $250 lbs

  • Inedible disposal fee - (Under 30 months) - $0.10/lb - Min $45

  • Inedible disposal fee - (Over 30 months) - $0.15/lb - Min $45

  • Cut & wrap (paper) - $1.10/lb

  • Cut & vacuum pack & retail ready labels - $1.95/lb

  • Custom Labels on paper wrap - $0.35/lb, Retail ready (includes plant sticker)- $0.45/lb

  • Condemnation fee - $275 slaughter fee + Inedible disposal fee + $150 (sm) - $200 (lg) for full carcass disposal

  • Heavily Tagged Animals:  $50 surcharge. We reserve the right to refuse animals that are contaminated (e.g. manure on hide, visibly abscessed) or injured.

  • Administration Fee: $25 surcharge for late cutting instructions.

    ** Note that all beef must be tagged with a valid CCIA tag before being unloaded. www.canadaid.ca has registration information.

    It is the customers’ responsibility to preg-check cows and heifers to ensure there they are not in calf before they enter our facility. For those animals found to be in calf, an additional fee for disposal will be applied.


PIGS - (400 lbs Max - live weight)

Please Note: We cannot accept mature sows or boars larger than 400 lbs live weight. Failure to disclose the size of your pig at the time of booking may result in your pig being rejected at drop-off.

  • Inedible disposal fee - $0.15/lb - Min $25

  • Cut & wrap (paper) - $1.10/lb

  • Custom Labels on paper wrap - $0.35/lb, Retail ready- $0.45/lb

  • Condemnation fee - $125 slaughter-only fee + $25 (sm) - $50 (lg) inedible disposal fee + $100 (sm) - $150 (lg) for full carcass disposal

  • Administration Fee: $25 surcharge. Cutting instructions that are received after processing.
     

** Note that all pigs must have PigTrace tags when they come in for processing. You need to register with PigTrace to order tags. Contact PigTrace at 1-877-668-7675 or go to www.PigTrace.ca

  • Slaughter, cut and wrap (paper) lamb and goat (under 60 lbs) - $140

  • Slaughter (sheep - 60+lbs) - $75

  • Cut & wrap (paper) sheep - $1.10/lb

  • Cut & vacuum pack & labels (sheep, lamb, goat) - $1.95/lb

  • Environmental fee - $0.15/lb - Min $20

  • Custom Labels on paper wrap - $0.35/lb, Retail ready- $0.45/lb

  • Ontario Sheep Marketing Board Fee: $2.20 per animal

  • Condemnation fee - $125 slaughter-only fee + $20 (sm) - $30 (lg) inedible disposal fee + $100 (sm) - $125 (lg) for full carcass disposal

  • Administration Fee: $25 surcharge. Cutting instructions that are received after processing.

  • $10 per day (per animal), for freezing will be applied to overdue accounts.
